- Detailed Information: During the recent debates over affirmative action, a concurrent discussion has arisen about the nature and extent of intellectual diversity on college campuses. This talk will consider the historical origins and policy implications of promoting intellectual diversity in higher education.
Maris A. Vinovskis is the Bentley Professor of History, Professor of Public Policy, and a Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Political Studies in the Institute for Social Research. He has authored or co-authored seven books, the most recent being History and Policymaking: Exploring the Uses of History for Educational Policymaking.
