The U-M Biological Station's annual Garden Party is a chance for Station alumni and friends to get together in the "off season."  This year's Garden Party is Saturday, March 12, at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor.  Rachel Vannette, a PhD student in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at U-M, is the feature speaker.  She will discuss her UMBS research in a talk titled, "Effects of Elevated CO2 on Milkweeds, Monarchs and Mutualistic Fungi."

The Botanical Garden conservatory is open to guests from 5-6 p.m.   A potluck dinner will begin at 6:00.  Guests should bring a dish to pass.  UMBS will provide drinks, plates, and utensils.
