Two sociology faculty members have been named Center/Program Directors in the University of Michigan International Institute.  

Associate Professor Genevieve Zubrzycki has been named to a 3-year term as Director of the Weiser for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE), which includes the Center for European Studies (CES); the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREES); and the Copernicus Program in Polish Studies. 

Associate Professor Kiyoteru Tsutsui has been named to a 3-year term as Director of the Human Rights Program in the International Institute.   He currently also serves as Associate Director of the Center for Japanese Studies, and Associate Chair of the Department of Sociology.
