It has just been announced that Professor Elizabeth A. Armstrong's new book, Paying for the Party: How College Maintains Inequality (co-authored with Laura Hamilton), has just been awarded the 2014 Outstanding Publication Award by the Postsecondary Education division of the American Education Research Association (AERA).

The purpose of this award is to bestow recognition on a colleague for a specific publication (book, book chapter, or journal article) judged as making a substantial contribution to the literature and/or practice of higher education.

Congratulations Elizabeth!
