Assistant Professor Greta Krippner's recent book, Capitalizing on Crisis: the political origins of the rise of finance, has received awards by two different sections of the American Sociological Association.  It has been recognized with the 2012 Viviana Zelizer Award from the Economic Sociology section and the 2012 Outstanding Book Award by the Political Sociology section.
