Through funding from the U.S. Department of Education’s Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language (UISFL) grant program, the University of Michigan’s School of Nursing is developing opportunities for its undergraduate students to participate in global learning experiences and language acquisition.

 

Maria Dorantes, Senior Lecturer and Director of Elementary Spanish Programs in RLL, participated in the grant by designing video case studies that focus on the experiences of Spanish-speaking patients to help students learn to adapt language skills in a clinical setting.  Read the whole story HERE.
