Eduardo de la Cruz Cruz is an instructor and researcher at the Zacatecas Institute for Teaching and Research in Ethnology (IDIEZ), at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas. A native Nahuatl speaker from Veracruz, Mexico, de la Cruz Cruz documents and studies the ceremonies and folklore of indigenous communities in Mexico. He is currently completing his master’s thesis on the economies of rural Mexican villages.
