Dr. Pam Davis-Kean will lead a discussion on Bringing Power to Psychological Research. Her presentation will cover how understanding the power to answer your questions is one of the most important questions of your research, and how it will make your science more rigorous. Conversation will center around the following questions: How do I know the effect size of my phenomenon? How do I calculate power? What do I do when it is so hard to recruit subjects for research? Won't this slow down my research production?
