The UM Physics Department is hosting COSMO-16 this summer which is the premier international series of cosmology conferences. The conference participants will discuss some of the hottest developments in cosmology, including progress in our understanding of dark matter and dark energy, and the recent epoch-making discovery of gravitational waves by the LIGO experiment.


The conference is sponsored by MIRA, MCTP, and the Oskar Klein Center at Stockholm University.
