LSAIT licenses nearly 250 software titles for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux computers.
Support Options *
Call the LSAIT Help Desk at (93)6-3279 option 1 for help with computers owned by the College of LSA. This link provides details of the support provided. Use option 2 for help with using software applications. Option 2 is available only to College of LSA faculty and staff; it is a commercial service paid for by LSAIT.
Research Systems Support *
Support for Linux and cluster computing.
Computer Upgrades for Instruction Faculty (CUIF) *
Administered by LSAIT, funds are disbursed to departments. Includes specially-negotiated pricing on recommended systems.
Faculty grants for innovations on teaching with technology *
Awarded by LSA's Instructional Technology Committee.
Instructional Support Services *
Classrooms database, equipment loans, media support, and more.
Faculty Exploratory *
A program and facility for faculty use of IT to enhance teaching, research, and publishing. Offers workshops and drop-in consulting. In the Hatcher Library.
