Advising
During the Fall and Winter terms, advising appointments can be schedule, for any purpose, through the advising calendar. If you are not able to schedule an appointment through the online system, e-mail linguistics@umich.edu or one of undergraduate advisors below, including sufficient details in your email.
The undergraduate advisors are:
- Acrisio Pires: Chair of the Undergraduate Program. General advising, transfer credit, study abroad, concentration credit for courses outside of linguistics, senior audit.
- Steve Abney: Primary Undergraduate Concentration/Minor Advisor. General advising, honors advising, internships/independent study, applied linguistics, speech pathology, senior audit.
- Patrice Beddor: General Advising, internships/independent study, applied linguistics, speech pathology.
- Sam Epstein: General advising, honors advising.
