The Global Fellowship Program will bring a scholar from abroad to the Institute for a full semester. The fellow will teach a course, pursue scholarship, and serve to strengthen the University of Michigan’s already strong area studies programs and global fields of study. A second, complementary Fellow will also be in residence for two to four weeks. Further, the Institute will plan—in conjunction with both Fellows—a major conference.
