Please note that the entry procedures for the Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest have changed. It is no longer necessary to have institutional endorsement in order to enter the contest. You do, however, need a faculty sponsor to read your essay and submit a "Faculty Sponsor Form." A professor may endorse a maximum of two essays in a contest year, so you might want to ask the professor you have chosen to endorse you whether or not he/she has been asked by anyone else. Information, student entry forms, faculty sponsor guidelines and forms are all available on the Elie Wiesel web site (  The due date usually falls in December.
