The Museum offers many programs for school and community groups:

• Guided tours of Prehistoric Life, Michigan Wildlife, and Native American Culture exhibits in our main galleries.
• Gallery Inquiry programs where groups solve problems within a gallery, with a Museum educator.
• Museum Presentations are dynamic, multi-media presentations in a Museum classroom.
• Planetarium shows on a variety of live and recorded topics, with question and answer periods.
• Early childhood programs offer special tours and Planetarium shows designed for groups of young children.
• Special opportunities like live animal days.
• Self-guided visit materials focus exploration.
• Outreach brings natural science programs into classrooms and libraries.
