Brigitte Miriam Bedos-Rezak, Professor of History at New York University, discussed the manufacture, imprinting, and materiality of seals between the 8th and 13th centuries in her March 26 lecture for the Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies. Her talk, "Printed Matter Before the Printing Press," continued the Institute's 2013-15 theme, "Materials of History."
