Field Geology Project

EARTH/GEOSCI 441 (Field Geology Project) covers advanced topics in field geology. Projects will vary year to year, but may include paleoontology and paleobotany, geologic mapping in complexly deformed terranes, integration and interpretation of regional geologic relationships, and topics in applied field geophysics.

Prerequisites

Completion of EARTH 440 or EARTH 450  immediately prior to EARTH 441 is a prerequisite for enrollment. 440 and 450 students are encouraged to apply.

Fees and Tuition

Fees: Room/Board/Transportation  $200 (tentative)

Tuition: Tuition for one U-M credit and course fees must be paid directly to the University of Michigan and will be billed on or before June 30th, 2015. Guest students are charged upper division rates. Up to date tuition rates can be found at the U-M Registrar website.
