"The Chairman and the Lions" produced by Kelly Askew, Associate Professor in DAAS and Anthropology, was the first place winner in the ETNOFilm Festival for Ethnographic and Anthropological Film (Rovinj, Croatia, April 2013). It also won the Special Jury Award in the Zanzibar International Film Festival (Zanzibar, Tanzania, July 2013).
