Recent research suggests that success in school, and in life, may have more to do with our mindset than our IQ, our social intelligence, or any other factor.  This workshop will discuss Carol Dweck's work on mindset and its connection to Angela Duckworth's research on the concept of grit.  The presentation will also highlight the top study and learning strategies from the book Make It Stick:  The Science of Successful Learning and identify the most common mistakes students make in their studying.

Free and open to anyone interested. Not appropriate for students younger than middle school.
