Planetarium:Light Years from Andromeda

UM Museum of Natural History, 1109 Geddes Avenue, Ann Arbor MI 48109

A beam of light leaves the Andromeda Galaxy and travels across the void of intergalactic space. On a planet in a nearby galaxy, intelligent life evolves. Over the course of centuries, the primitives on the planet form cultures and civilizations — and begin to wonder about the universe surrounding them. When the light beam reaches Earth, some of the early hunters’ descendants have just escaped the bonds of their world's gravity, and visited the Moon.

Planetarium prices are $5 for adults, seniors, & children.
