Brain Science Discovery Day

Saturday, March 21, 2015
12:00 AM
Museum of Natural History

Every time we learn something we form or strengthen a synapse in our brains. Join UMMNH for a day devoted to learning about the brain. Explore how the brain works, how it interprets the world and whether those brain-training apps are really worthwhile.  Enjoy a day filled with fun activities, demonstrations and more. How many new synapses will you create?

As part of a day-long program devoted to exploring the science of the human brain, the Museum's Planetarium will run short, free demonstrations. Visit the dome as we show the inner working of the brain, using software called Neurodome. A live presenter will take you on a short tour of the brain. All ages admitted. Demonstrations on March 21 are free.
