Science Café: Can You Train Your Brain?

Many online games and services now claim to improve complex cognition skills, or "train your brain." What do they really do? Is it possible to increase your working memory or improve brain executive functions? Speakers include Professor Priti Shah of the Department of Psychology and Ben Katz, a Ph.D. student in psychology and a former researcher and game designer at Lumosity.com. Join us for a brain teasing conversation!

 

Science Cafés provide an opportunity for audiences to discuss current science topics with experts in an informal setting. All Science Cafés take place at Conor O’Neill’s Traditional Irish Pub, 318 South Main Street, Ann Arbor. Hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 PM; program 6:00 PM7:30 PM.
