New Museum Openings
There are so many exciting things about the new Museum that we need to have three events to celebrate!
The first celebration will be with all the other occupants* of the BSB in the fall of 2018 when the building opens for classes and scientists. Although the Museum galleries will not open then, our iconic mastodon couple, and the hanging whales, Basilosaurus and Dorudon will be on view in the building’s east atrium.
The second opening event takes place in the spring of 2019 when several exhibit galleries and the new Digital Dome Theater open to the public.
The final celebration will be in the fall of 2019 when remaining exhibits will be installed and the entire Museum is ready for visitors!
