The UMBS community and teaching garden is entering its sixth year of production. This year's garden steward, alumnus John Den Uyl, is continuing the tradition of documenting the garden's activities and sights on a beautiful blog.
By the time of his final May post, Den Uyl was in his 34th day of work on the garden. Hardy greens were nearly ready for consumption in the dining hall, and the Ethnobotany had begun planting in the ethnobotanical garden. Visit the blog often for updates on our local food production.
