Graduate students face a variety of writing tasks as they work toward their chosen degrees. This workshop will provide an overview of some important characteristics of academic writing including strategic language choices, establishing strong connections among ideas, and establishing a stance, all of which contribute toward positioning yourself as a member of your chosen field through your written work.
