D.A. Darling Professor of Statistics Vijay Nair receives the Deming Lecturer Award from the American Statistical Association .  The Deming Lecturer Award recognizes the accomplishments of the awardee and enhanced the awareness among the statistical community of the scope and importance of W. Edwards Deming's contributions to the field of statistics.
