It has been announced that Fiona Rose-Greenland has been awarded the 2013 Jacquin-Berdal Nations and Nationalism Prize by the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and Nationalism (ASE) at the London School of Economics.  This essay prize is awarded for the best article submitted on original research in ethnicity and nationalism.  

Rose-Greenland has been recognized for her paper "The Parthenon Marbles as Icons of Nationalism in 19th century Britain where-in she examines the process by which the Parthenon Marbles were removed from Greece and absorbed into British nationalist culture as the Elgin Marbles.  It will be published later this year in the journal Nations and Nationalism.
