SLC Peer Mentorship Program
The Science Learning Center’s Peer Mentorship Program for aspiring science and math majors connects first and second-year students to peer mentors who provide encouragement, support and resources leading to a positive transition to college life and a successful path to majoring in a mentee’s chosen field.
The Mentorship Program began with a kickoff event in late October during which mentors and mentees met for the first time and got a chance to get to know each other better. If you are thinking about majoring in one of the natural science disciplines and are interested in learning more about becoming a mentee to be paired with a peer mentor, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
