The Science Learning Center employs students in a variety of roles. Students may work as Front Desk Monitors, Computer Assistants, Peer Study Group Facilitators or Peer Tutors.

Front Desk Monitor positions (Office Assistant) are posted on the U-M Student Employment website under the category "All Jobs: Office." The majority of these positions are filled by students who have work/study awards.

Help Room Desk Staff positions (Office Assistant) are posted on the U-M Student Employment website under the category "All Jobs: Office." The majority of these positions are filled by students who have work/study awards.

Peer Study Group Facilitator positions (Tutor I) are described on our website on the Become A Facilitator pages including information about how to apply. The positions are available for students with or without the work/study award.

Peer Tutor positions (Tutor I) are described on our website on the Become a Tutor page including information about how to apply. The positions are available for students with or without the work/study award.

Peer Mentor positions (Program Assistant) are described on our website on the Mentorship page including information about how to apply. The positions are available for Junior or Senior STEM majors, with our without the work/study award.
