The SLC provides programs and services to support science learning across LSA.
Let us know what we can do to help you teach your classes and to support student learning.
Reserve SLC Computers for Classes
To reserve computers for classes, please submit your request using our online submit your request using our online form.
Place Materials on Reserve at the SLC
Please supply your own copy of the item (book, handout, DVD, CD, etc.) for placement at the SLC. Students with a valid MCard may borrow materials placed on reserve from the SLC front desk. Most course reserve materials are designated "2-Hour Room Use" although other arrangements may be made. Email us for further information.
Submit GSI Office Hours Schedules
Many GSIs hold office hours at the SLC. In fact, some terms bring as many as 75 different GSIs from more than a dozen courses. With only eight meeting alcoves at the SLC Main Branch and three team rooms at the SLC Satellite Location, scheduling can be a challenge. Therefore, we ask that you submit your requests early and allow us up to 48 hours to process your request. Please submit a master list showing all of your GSI's names, uniqnames, and requested days/times. Send the master list to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line GSI Office Hours Request.
