Program Eligibility

In order to be considered for this program, your organization must meet the following minimal requirements:

  1. Have 501(c)3 non-profit status; (Note: we will consider applications from small businesses and elected officials who meet the following two criteria.)
  2. Employ at least one full-time equivalent, paid staff member who can provide consistent supervisory oversight of student intern;
  3. Have a formal office location based within the city limits of Detroit; (Note: exceptions can be made IF the proposed project focuses on work solely in the city of Detroit AND the student's work-site location is within the Detroit city limits.)

Prospective partners for our Spring 2017 Program should fill out the google form below. Please note: Organizations who already applied for the fall 2016 program but who did not receive a student intern will remain eligible for future program semesters in 2017.  There is no need to complete a new google form.
