Improvisation Pianist, Liz Magnes, is doing an artist's residency this week with RCHums334:From the Page to the World Stage. She has talked with students about how she has used her music as a peace activist and about collaborating with artists, and she has been teaching the class how to create sound that is inspired by text and then how to put sound and music to a performance of text. On Wed., April 16, we will have our second workshop with her. At the end of the workshop, students will present the results of the week in a short presentation of a scene (written as a poem in free verse) from "War Zone" by contemporary German playwright, Dea Loher. We will open our doors at 9:30 to anyone who is interested. Wed. April 16, Keene Theater. Free.
