Friday, October 18, 2013

335 West Hall

What do you want to do when you graduate with your postgraduate Physics degree? This is a question I asked myself all through grad school. I could never have predicted the career path that I’ve followed. Today, Physicists enjoy a wide array of career options. This presentation will go through my initial struggles to discover my own path. Starting from grad school, transitioning to industry and finally to government, culminating in being a part of history. The US EPA conducted a series of Greenhouse Gas Regulations that will have significant impact on the automotive industry as well as consumers.

Speaker:
Dr. Edward Nam (Director, Light Duty Vehicle and Small Engine Center, US Environmental Protection Agency)
