This is a review of my work in 1985, which predicted the Pierre Auger Project data showing a correlation between high energy cosmic rays and the locations of AGN. The proposed model suggests a new mass scale at the knee energy in the cosmic ray energy spectrum. If that corresponds to a weakly interacting particle, it suggests the existence of a dark matter particle. A suggestion has been put forward to detect such a particle in a cosmic ray experiment utilizing a large accelerator detector.
