Students in Prison Creative Arts Project (PCAP) Brazil Exchange collaborate with Brazilian theatre students and faculty for three weeks each June. This year's group spent the first week at an international prison arts conference, “Seminario International de Arte e Educação Prisional” at the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina. Students are spending weeks two and three in Rio de Janeiro, where they attend classes at UniRio and observe the theatre work being done in Brazilian prisons, the Maré favela, and two hospitals.
