At the annual year-end celebration, MCSP students, alumni, and staff all gathered to celebrate a year of accomplishments in the program. The first year back in the newly-renovated West Quad was a success, and the MCSP community has continued to build a lasting legacy within West Quad and the Michigan community. Student speakers Sydney Bartell and Camron Razdar reflected on how their MCSP involvement have shaped their lives. Graduating seniors were recognized by Directors David Schoem and Wendy Woods, and were presented with a cord to commemorate their service within MCSP. Current student leaders were presented certificates to thank them for all their hard work with the first-year students. Additionally, MCSP coordinators Becky Christensen and Dan Green, and administrative assistant Devon Degraffenreed were honored for their years of service to the program, and warm wishes were extended as they pursue higher educational opportunities next year. With food and activities, and a performance from the Smile Bringer Singers, the superhero-themed event was a success! MCSP staff and student leaders are eager to welcome the next class of students into the program, and begin another great year of service and learning.
