Elaina Breznau, a graduate student working with MCDB Assistant Professor Ann Miller, has been awarded a Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship by the University of Michigan School of Graduate Studies.

The fellowship supports outstanding doctoral students who have achieved candidacy and are actively working on dissertation research and writing.  It seeks to support students working on dissertations that are unusually creative, ambitious and risk-taking. Fellowships include a stipend, candidacy tuition and required fees for twelve months.
