Tangut, a.k.a Xixià, an extinct Tibeto-Burman language

Bill Baxter will talk about Tangut, a.k.a Xixià, an extinct Tibeto-Burman language spoken in an 11th-century kingdom in northwestern China (north central China if you look at the map; and there may be closely related modern languages), for which a logographic script was invented in the 11th century by order of the king.
