A weekend of non-stop phonetics and phonology!
Our Department is hosting the 18th installation of the annual Midwestern phonetics/phonology meeting known as Mid-Phon. This meeting brings together researchers in phonetics and phonology, both students and faculty, from across the Midwestern states of the US, and the Midcontinental provinces of Canada. This year's event features more 30 presentations on topics ranging from phonological opacity to how autistic traits impact compensation for coarticulation. Full information is available on the Mid-Phon 18 website here.
