Corazones Unidos Siempre, Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority Founders Ball

Thursday, April 9, 2015
12:00 AM
Rackham East Conference Room

The purpose of the event is to honor and recognize underrepresented minority groups, on campus. The work that these students, and the organizations that they are a part of, do is vital for the continued existence, presence and success of minority students at the University of Michigan. The event will educate all attendees on the efforts of their fellow peers, and through this we hope to establish relationships among one another, that will lead to even greater success, along with political, educational, cultural and social movements in our communities. Our hopes are to recognize graduating seniors, notable students and distinguished faculty that attempt to educate, elevate, and empower all people from diverse communities. By creating an environment that celebrates the accomplishments of these individuals, we hope to set a precedent that can inspire other members of these communities at the University of Michigan to aspire towards success.
