La Academia del Pueblo Conference

4th Annual La Academia del Pueblo Latino/a and Latin American Studies Research Conference will be held today at Wayne State University in Detroit. The theme of the conference is “Shifting the Harvest of Empire: Sembrando Una Nueva Conciencia.” World-renowned Latino journalist and author of Harvest of Empire, Juan González, will be the keynote speaker.
