Implementation of PowerPoint technology in upper-level undergraduate classes on early modern Spanish literature (1500-1700), with the goal of ultimately creating new topics courses related to the materials presented. In this preliminary stage, the project is twofold: a) to gather visual materials from Spanish archives (maps, architectural sketches and posters); and b) to purchase a number of books and catalogs from public institutions in Madrid (such as the Biblioteca Nacional and the Museo de Bellas Artes) in order to have these images digitized upon my return to Ann Arbor.
