For U-M Undergraduate Students

  • Undergraduate Outreach
In recent years, the Institute for the Humanities has expanded its focus in exciting ways to take the Michigan undergraduate experience into account. Students can receive support for self-organized interest groups on topics related to the humanities. An undergraduate advisory group of six students assists the institute in developing programming of relevance to the undergraduate population. And the institute offers opportunities for students to develop professional skills and experience through internships and fellowships.
  • Undergraduate Advisory Group
The Undergraduate Advisory Group collectively suggests speakers and courses for the Institute to sponsor, and helps to promote events of interest to communities and friends affiliated with our campus. Students meet regularly throughout the semester at the Institute, while also periodically gathering opinions and thoughts from student peers.
