A conversation with American choreographer Kyle Abraham, a 2013 MacArthur Fellow and 2012 USA Ford Fellow, and Stephanie Batiste, associate professor of Black Studies & English at UC Santa Barbara, about Abraham's life and career. Abraham will also perform one of his short solo works. His company, Abraham.In.Motion, intertwines a sensual and provocative vocabulary with a strong emphasis on sound, human behavior, and all things visual, and performs at the Power Center on Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14, 2015.  For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit ums.org.
