Humans first communicated through the use of sounds, then images and then text. People now express themselves through radio frequencies, electromagnetic fields, pixels, broadband, and data. "I Don't Speak" is a visual exploration of this evolution. It combines the dynamic beauty and history of past vocabulary systems as a means to marvel at the complex, hushed, and more universal language that humans are generating today.

Keaton Fox is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work documents, distorts, reflects, and explores the digital disarray of the modern world. She lives and works in Detroit.
