Professor Jennifer Robertson gave the keynote lecture, "Robo-Sexism and Retro-Robotics" at the Gender, Bodies, & Technology conference in Blacksburg, Virginia May 1-3, 2014.

Gender, Bodies and Technology is an interdisciplinary initiative originating with the Women's and Gender Studies Program at Virginia Tech that explores relationships between technology and gender, race, class and identity with particular attention paid to bodies as a site where these relationships can be investigated.
