You can be a victor for Michigan and a champion of art historical study.
Giving Blueday prioritizes our students, our state, and our world. You, our alumni, are the most powerful example we have of how an art history education can impact everything—from jobs to relationships to global change—and why supporting it is a worthy cause. Join the University of Michigan and alumni like you around the world for Giving Blueday by making a gift to support one of our three initiatives:
Internships help to launch careers, but not all students have the resources to undertake them. This fund enables UM undergraduates to gain vital, hands-on experience by supporting them in unpaid or underpaid internships in art museums or other institutions dedicated to preserving cultural heritage. Museum Studies Minor
The minor in museum studies offers classroom and experiential opportunities to learn how museums work in historical and contemporary contexts. Contributions to this fund support undergraduate student travel, research, and experiential learning. Click here to support the Museum Studies Minor.
Graduate Student Support
Competitive graduate scholarships make it possible to train future leaders in the field of art history in a global array of subfields, historical and contemporary, in order that they may serve in both the academic and public spheres. Click here to support Graduate Student Research.
