Peer Facilitation

Peer Facilitators are GSP students returning for a 2nd year that facilitate Collaborative Group conversations, workshop series, film discussions and more!  Peer facilitation is a core component of the Global Scholars Program’s living-learning community. As a program, we provide peer leadership opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills so that they may be better prepared for leadership opportunities elsewhere on campus and beyond graduation.

Developing leadership skills in a safe space with a globally diverse community of students will help GSP students to become innovative leaders who can effectively promote positive social change on a global level.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A GSP PEER FACILITATOR?

  1. Students who have completed 1-2 semesters in the Global Scholars Program.
  2. Students who have demonstrated potential to serve as a GSP Peer Facilitator.
  3. Students who have an interest in learning more about intercultural peer leadership.
  4. Students who have demonstrated an interest in and commitment to promoting positive global change.
