Taehoon Im, an Honors student majoring in International Studies, traveled to Korea over the Winter Break to receive a commendation and gold medal as a 2011 Presidential Scholarship Award Recipient.  An honor bestowed by the President of the Republic of Korea, Taehoon met with other award recipients and the Minister of Education at the Blue House to be recognized for his experience in overcoming poverty, academic achievements, two years of service in Bangladesh as a Korean Overseas Volunteer, leadership experience, and international activities. Taehoon will move to Boston in Fall 2012 to study at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
