The Goethe Institute Collection at the LRC (Search "Goethe Institute Collection" under Keyword field) In 1999, the Goethe Institute, upon closing the Ann Arbor office, donated its resource collection to the Language Resource Center (LRC) to allow the local German language community to continue to benefit from the rich selection of texts and media. In accepting the stewardship of the collection, the LRC agreed to keep the collection open to the public, as it had been when it was under the auspices of the Goethe Institute.
To that end, we not only allow our local patrons to walk-in and check items out, but we also provide a shipping service to those in the Michigan/Ohio region who cannot get to our offices.
