Outstanding Staff Team Award

Demonstrated unusual initiative or creativity; offered a novel problem resolution

Must have more than 15 years of service at the University and have exhibited progressive career advancement, taking on increasing levels of responsibility, sustaining noteworthy performance throughout their career

Actively pooled skills, talents and knowledge, with evidence of each member’s contributions and mutual support of each other

Developed innovations that improve work processes and are resource-conscious; encouraged same in others

Showed willingness to help others achieve their goals

Has evidence of benefits accrued from team’s or work group’s efforts

Exercised outstanding supervisory or mentoring skills; facilitated the success of others

Nominations for this award must include a statement signed by the Chief Administrator or Director/Chair attesting to his/her outstanding performance for the previous 5 years.  This will be verified by LSA-HR.
